Mission
The OFW 911 Foundation, Inc., founded in the year 2002, envisions to be in forefront of creating an OFW culture of belonging and pride. Through information and education, it envisions the enrichment of our OFW's everyday lives. It is likewise committed to extend more than basic services to all OFW and their families. And it seeks to create strong linkages with government and private institutions to further the welfare of our overseas Filipino workers.
Objectives
- To provide assistance through information and education that would promote the welfare and interest of the Overseas Filipino Workers, "OFW" or "migrant workers";
- To initiate, conduct and manage research and other projects leading to the greater efficiency in the identification of socially relevant programs that would promote the welfare of the migrant workers or OFW and their families / dependents;
- To publish and distribute or cause to be published and distributed, research outputs and other information related to OFW;
- To cooperate with governmental or public and private institutions in underwriting, conducting and / or sponsoring projects and / or programs dedicated to the promotion of well-being of OFW and their families;
- To undertake, manage, execute, coordinate or cooperate with any other non-profit institutions in activities that will promote the interest of the OFW.
